MEITAKI CHOICE ACADEMY
Kia Orana and Welcome to the Academy.
This program for our Kids and Youths Cultural Dance, Learning, and Story Telling is a community-focused group dedicated to preserving heritage through performance. We use dance as a "vehicle" to connect young people with their roots while building real-world skills like confidence and teamwork.
These programs go beyond teaching "steps" by focusing on the stories and spirituality behind the movements.

Every Step Tells a Story. Emphasizes the journey of self-expression and creativity that children and youths experience through cultural dance, encouraging them to explore their dreams. Each performance is a narrative, encouraging participants to express their unique backgrounds and experiences through their art.
